Designed to enhance your staff’s
knowledge by providing hands-on training, these courses will
ensure that new and existing household staff increase their
effectiveness and are an asset to your home which will increase
their cooking skills and expand their repertoire. Taught in
English with Hindi translation each course participant will
receive written information to outline what they have learned
on the course.
Course Descriptions
- Basic Housekeeping, Hygiene and Health
Household staff will learn about safe food handling and
preparation as well as the correct use of household products.
They will gain insight into keeping your family home safe
from fire, gas leaks and electrical issues.
- Basic Western Cooking
This course will teach cooks and other household staff basic western cooking methods which will increase their cooking skills and expand their repertoire. All cooking basics will be covered and copies of recipes given to take away.
- Childcare: Safety and activities for the children
Keeping your children safe and gainfully occupied is the
focus of this course. Your staff will learn how to assess environmental
risks, develop play networks and how to use their imagination
and initiative to look after your children. Domesteq will
provide information to take away that will help your staff get organized and approach their job with renewed vigour.
- First Aid/CPR
Domesteq is proud to partner with East West Rescue to offer
a First Aid/CPR class designed specifically for household
staff. This training provides the skills and confidence
needed to keep an emergency situation under control until
medical help has arrived. These courses are interactive
and taught in Hindi. International guidelines are followed
and scenarios that are specific to accidents and incidents
that may occur in the home are used throughout the course.
