Shawan Shawn Runacres, Founder and Managing Director
Shawn has lived in Delhi since 2002. A native Californian and a UC Berkeley graduate, Shawn spent many years living in Europe before moving to India. Her professional expertise is in corporate events and she has a background in marketing and brand management. Shawn spent many years with the Walt Disney Company starting with them in Paris as part of the team which launched Disneyland Paris. After 4 years in Paris, she moved to London and established the Walt Disney Special Events Office (WDSEG) covering events across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Now a veteran diplomatic spouse of 20 years, Shawn and her family decided, after many years and several overseas postings, to settle in New Delhi. Entrepreneurial by nature, she has built a successful business life in one of the world's most exciting cities, which she now considers home.

Cherley Cheryl Rawat
Cheryl is an Irish national and since her marriage to an Indian 30 years ago, she has called Delhi home. She has raised a family in Delhi and spent many years working in one of the city's top international schools welcoming new families and helping them to settle into their new lives in India. She recently spent a few years as a destination consultant for a well known relocation company. Cheryl has brought her unique perspective as a long-term foreigner living and working in Delhi to Domesteq and is General Manager Operations for Delhi and the NCR.
Raghu Raghu Ramaiah
Raghu now heads up the Gurgaon Office with his colleague Surekha Prasad. He holds a post graduate certificate in Business Leadership from the School of Inspired Leadership, a graduate in science from Bangalore University and has several years of work experience in the operations side of the life and health insurance industry. Raghu has worked with organizations such as United Health Group and Fidelity Business Services India. Raghu is eager to understand complex work issues and enjoys developing solutions for them. Raghu, in the pursuit of his professional objectives enjoys experimenting with novel methods for sourcing workers and encouraged to visualising the changes that Domesteq's work will mean to the future of India.

Surekha Surekha Prasad
Born and brought up in a cultured Indian family, Surekha believes in learning and knowing about different cultures and traditions of India. Flexible and adaptable by nature, she has lived in many cities around the country. Although Surekha studied management, she enjoyed teaching mathematics to secondary school students for many years. Surekha works side by side with her colleague, Raghu Ramaiah to build Domesteq's new division in Gurgaon. Surekha heads up Client Relations, educating both our clients and candidates with warmth and a steady hand.
Anjani Anjani Rawat
A Delhi native, Anjani is half European and half Indian. A fluent Hindi and English speaker, she brings her experience from growing up in a multi-cultural home to Domesteq and handles information management, courses and staff placement in Delhi. Anjani previously worked for a multi-national in finance before joining Domesteq. Her master's degree in business administration gives her a strong theoretical base and her past practical experience ensures that she is able to enhance the quality of services that Domesteq provides.
Messeay Messiya Sylvester
Messiya is from a South Indian family but was born and raised in New Delhi. She graduated from Jesus and Mary College. In Domesteq's Gurgaon office, Messiya handles information management and is a key administration support. Her vital in-depth perspective of the domestic worker sector has enabled her to take part in the education of novice workers. Outside of work she enjoys being actively involved in several Christian NGO communities.
Jai Verma Jai Varma
Jai comes from multi-cultural background and has vast personal experience of living in different countries. Acting as a Project Consultant with Domesteq, she has special responsibility for developing many of our training curricula and takes the lead on our tailored courses for NGO's and corporate. Prior to joining Domesteq, Jai spent many years working in an event management company in Dubai. Fluent in both English and Hindi, her considerable experience with managing projects from conception to completion is an asset to Domesteq.

Zenu Zeenu James
Zeenu James, Course Trainer, has been with Domesteq since 2008. Previous to her role as a trainer, Zeenu worked in the household of a Canadian diplomatic spouse, who was a fully trained chef. During her time with Cameron and his family she also assisted him with his catering business (called "Tiffin") where she was able to further develop her culinary skills and assisted him while he taught courses for the domestic staff at the Canadian High Commission.
James James Xavier
A native of Delhi, James, originally a chef, has joined Domesteq as a Trainer. His unique perspective into the life of domestic workers allows him to educate our registered workers in a way that will help them in all aspects of their lives as well as increase their skill sets and employability. James is an artist at heart and the enjoyment he feels through sketching, painting and designing has helped him bring Domesteq training curriculum alive with relevant images.
Sunil Sunil Kumar
Sunil Kumar is a post graduate in Criminology from National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, New Delhi. Sunil enjoys working in the social sector and overseas our field workers, guiding them in their work with local villages. Working hard to encourage unemployed individuals to embrace dignified roles in the domestic workers industry, Sunil spends much of his time building relationships and encouraging individuals to reach for a better life.
Sanjay Sanjay Wilson
Sanjay has worked with our Director since 2002. Sanjay manages many of the administrative issues in both our offices and is Domesteq's key liaison with the local police and security companies. Aside from managing all our vendor relationships, he is also a key part of our community outreach programme and is engaged with the domestic staff village communities across the city. In his spare time, Sanjay is also the owner of Samson Rental Cars - a car and driver leasing service for long-term and short-term rentals.
Valire Valerie Swope
Valerie has a myriad of professional experience in hotel management, event planning, training and teaching. Born, raised and educated in the US, Valerie has lived in Delhi for a total of 3 years and is drawn to India's unique and vibrant culture. Valerie works as Shawn's right hand assistant across 2 companies with unending opportunities to learn and grow.
  Janet Golden, Co-Founder
Janet has lived in Delhi since 1998. In 2007 Janet took her many years of volunteer experience at the AWA's Domestic Staff Registry to help Shawn lay the foundations of Domesteq Service Solutions. After more than 2 years on the front line managing clients and domestic workers, Janet decided to take time off to be with her family and explore other opportunities. Today, Janet remains part of the advisory team of the company while juggling contracts as a programme development professional. She continues to live in Delhi with her family.
